How does the Villa Borghini Anagen-Plus Treatment work?

There are different types of hair loss.
The most common one and the hardest to treat is Androgenetic Alopecia, common form of hair loss.It affects both males and females.

There are three main causes of hair loss:

1. genetic predisposition

The hair loss is characterized by a decrease in the percentage of hair in the Anagen phase (the growth phase of the hair cycle during which new hair is formed), and consequently an increase in the percentage of hair in the Telogen phase (hair loss phase).  Under normal conditions, the percentage of hair in the anagen phase should be between 80 – 85%, the percentage of hair in the telogen phase should be 14 – 16%.

The relationship between the percentage of bulbs in the anagen phase and the bulbs in the telogen phase is crucial for understanding if a subject is loosing hair.  The relationship is calculated by dividing the percentage of bulbs in the anagen phase by the percentage of bulbs in the telogen phase (81/15).  In the normal condition, that ratio should be 5.6.  The more severe the hair loss is, the smaller the ratio.

Directions:

• Apply shampoo directly on wet hair
• Massage the scalp lightly to obtain foam
• Wash off the shampoo
• Make the second application
• Massage the scalp lightly to obtain rich foam
• Leave it on the hair for 1-2 minutes

Suggestions of our experts: the solution should be applied after the shampoo and should not be rinsed off.  If needed, Reintegrating Mask or Regenerating Cream can be used after the shampoo only on the hair avoiding the contact with the scalp.  After that solution should be applied.
